It's an anagram of my name, Christine Mackee, and so the perfect name for my blog!ABOUT ME & MY STYLE
Australian born and London based since 2008; I live with my boyfriend Nick in Fulham. I have a weakness for extremely dark chocolate, vietnamese noodle salad and handbags; I hate toads, slippery footpaths when it's snowed, and people who chew with their mouth open (get some manners!). I spend way too much time browsing and ultimately shopping online and I've been travelling internationally since I was 11. As well as fashion, travel is one of my true loves in life.My style can be reasonably trend led, though at heart I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl who grew up playing in the dirt and climbing trees with the boys in the neighbourhood (before going home and rummaging through my dress up box). I love simple lines and colour blocking and I generally shy away from overly fussy or girly clothes, though I do love movement and swishyness. I also went through a rock phase in university (I was even in a band briefly!) so I do gravitate to subtly edgy pieces and accessories. I've also been around a lot of preppyness in life - high school was full of rugby shorts and polo shirts, and the Chelsea area (not far from where i live) is packed with Sloane Rangers with Chanel 2.55's or equestrian boots.

Cashmere Kinetic is a sort of anagram of my life, where I can indulge in the things I'm really passionate about: fashion, travel and most recently nurturing my inner domestic goddess. Oh, and more fashion.I'll be posting about everything from my outfits to items I'd love to buy, to inspiration and catwalk looks. I'll also share my travels and adventures in life.
